5.12 bug - silver chain

I can make gold chain but the silver chain recipe does not seem to work.

Also looks like maybe cut gem value factors in the "component" of the lapidary wheel (which uses an extremely valuable diamond dust to make) but this component is not actually used up in the process -- so final value of cut/processed gems may be figured too high.

Hey, thanks for pointing these out.

I have fixed the silver chain recipe on the live servers and I am uploading a new server build now that contains the fix.

Do you think that lapidary wheels should be consumable, or just that cut gems are of too high value?

I do NOT think the lapidary wheel should be consumable, since it is almost impossible to get diamonds to cut for it.

So I think the cut gem value should be somehow lowered.

Not sure what other recipes use (but do not consume) components, I will try to check some others.

Gotcha.

I've added a todo to my list to show which items are not consumed in the cookbook.

Generally if it requires a tool or a wheel, those items will not be consumed.

This probably explains why flour value escalates so rapidly from a farmer grinding wheat, it adds in the millstone value for each unit of flour made, as well as the wheat.

I'll make an adjustment that factors in only a small percentage of a non-consumable recipe item's worth to the algorithm for calculating crafted item costs.
