Failed to launch on Ubuntu 14.04 x64

Postby scj643 » Tue Jul 01, 2014 11:44 am

When i try to run the stand alone client on Ubuntu 14.04 I get this error

Code: Select all
libEGL warning: failed to create a pipe screen for i965

From what I learned compiling the JOGL.jar and not using the prebuilt versions fixes the issues but then I would have to get all the dev utils and it's a hassle and takes a decent amount of space.

It also could be that my Intel integrated graphics with the intel sandybridge doesn't support it on linux.

Eeek!

I'll spin up my Linux instances and see if I can't recreate.

Can you give me any specifics on system specs?

Cheers,
Chris

That is the hardinfo generated system specs report
That should tell you everything you would ever want or need to know about my system.

If you need me to test anything or try to build something I will gladly try. I consider myself smarter then the average person when it comes to computers (I use linux for crying out loud) :D
